Geocache Description:

Welcome!

Join us on the journey we took in May 2025 to explore one of Europe’s most captivating countries. Each stage invites you to discover not only the next step of our trip but also pieces of history, geography, and culture.

This mystery cache consists of 6 stages with questions about a roadtrip. With each correct answer, the questions to be answered in the following certainty are revealed in Certitude

The order is: 1 --> 2 --> 3 --> 4 --> 5 --> 6 --> Coordinates

At each point, you’ll need to enter your answers without accents or spaces into Certitude

1. Departure

Our trip began at Orly 3 Airport, with a flight of approximately 1,410 km to the southeast. We landed at the international airport of a city known for its remarkably preserved medieval walls. The Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and one of the most scenic ways to admire it is from above by taking the local cable car. This walled city was the first stop on our journey.

1) What is the historic name of this city (italian word)?

2) Just off its coast lies a small island famous for its peacocks and botanical gardens. We visited this lush haven, which also has a long monastic history. What is its name? (6 letters)

Fun fact: This city also served as a primary filming location for King’s Landing in Game of Thrones.

Enter both answers (no accents or spaces) in Certitude
