Back country skiers will hitch a ride here to the top of The Continental Divide Pass in the winter or if there is any snow for that matter for a free ride on the slopes. A bright caution sign is usually covered in ski stickers. A nice halfway point to the top or on the way down. Depending on how much snow, this can be accessible in winter.

You might see a few people thumbing a ride. If you have room, help them out to the top!
