CACHE ISN'T AT POSTED CO-ORDINATES
Labyrinth (1986)
Labyrinth has been one of my favourite films for as long as I can remember. I love everything about it; the characters, the music and the film sets. Whenever I see an old wall it reminds of some of the early scenes in the movie.

I discovered Cowden Hall Park not long ago when I went searching for the nearby Sweeney Toddlers cache (GC4J2D7 You wood, wood you? [They give a great history of the park]). As I was exploring the area I was again reminded of Labyrinth when I passed by some of the old estate walls and was inspired to create a Labyrinth themed cache.
The cache
This mystery cache will involve a wee bit of a quest to reach the final.
Go to posted co-ordinates, face the wall, and follow the 2 word "instruction". Then follow the faint path (slightly to the left) through the trees. Continue along the path until you can't go any further in that direction, it should be obvious when you get there (this location could be similar to another place in the movie, but don't worry, you don't need a rock summoning companion to progress). Follow the "obstruction" round to the right and you should find yourself in front of another wall. Follow the wall along to the left and the cache can be found a few paces on from where some wood meets stone.
As you get close to the cache you may have to go over or under some low lying tree trunks/limbs. If you can't manage then there should be an alternative route past them that doesn't take you too far from the "path".
The ground is a bit uneven and can be quite muddy if there has been recent rainfall so sturdy footwear or wellies are recommended. There are some nettles so long sleeves and full length trousers are probably best too. There is one small section with some barbed wire at a low level so care should be taken, especially with children and dogs. The D/T ratings reflect the challenge involved and the omission of final co-ords. Hopefully it doesn't prove too challenging and you don't ask the Goblin King to take me away....
