This cache was placed as part of the

REMEMBER to bring water, wear a sunhat or use sunscreen lotion.

The cache is not at the posted coordinates!

But you will need to visit the posted coordinates looking for the sign about Upland Shrubs.

How many letters in the Latin word for Chokecherry? ADD 1

How many letters in the common name for Ribes aureum?  ADD 102

These are the decimal minutes.

Look at the illustrated plant on the bottom right: How many letters in the common name?                    

How many leafs in the common name title for the Rhus trilobata

There are quite a few off trail slopes to navigate so the geocaches are not wheelchair friendly.

This part of the Beavere Roundup is suggested to take about 2-3 hours to complete.

Columbine Open Space and Trail

Open one hour before sunrise and one hour after sunset.

 

Columbine Open Space includes a protected area for the ENDANGERED  Preble's Meadow Jumping Mouse. Due to the Mouse, NO DOGS ARE ALLOWED in this park and hikers are not allowed in the area immediately adjacent to Plum Creek.
