Welcome to John Andy Park on the banks of the North Johnstone River. This park is a nice rest area just north of Innisfail and is located between the Old North Johnstone River Bridge and the newer Sir Joseph McAvoy Bridge (opened in 1981). If you have time you can do a spot of fishing from the old bridge or try and spot crocodile or two that live in the area. Just don't go swimming!
Do not park on the highway, rather turn off onto Shaw Road (Old Bruce Highway) which can be accessed from Upper Daradgee Road. Please bring your own pen.
