Welcome to the summit of Tobacco Row Mountain. In this area you will find the greatest view of Amherst and Lynchburg for miles on end. While the hide itself is relatively simple, the trek here will be more challenging if you don't have a vehicle that is meant for all terrain roads. If you decide to make the drive through the paved, steep, and gravel roads know that you will be one of the few people to see this extraordinary and breathtaking view. While here, also try to find the graffiti rock and sit down to admire the outstanding landscape! Enjoy the views and Happy Caching, you will not regret the adventure!

This Geocache is a virtual/traditional hybrid. Your first step is to find the geocache and sign the log (BYOP), then your next step is to take pictures of this extraordinary view and post them here for all Geocachers to see. The main point of this Geocache is to see and take pictures of such an amazing view. Turn right on Ambrose Rucker Road and turn left on Mistover Drive. Continue Straight on Mistover Drive and keep going until you reach your destination. You will have to switch from a paved to gravel road while driving. Keep straight on the gravel road until you reach a 4 road intersection. Turn right at the first gravel road and continue Straight until you reach your destination. Be wary though, the gravel road can be rough at times which is why the terrain is high. I would strongly recommend driving an offroad vehicle here.
