Geocache Description:

Nestled in the heart of Covington’s quiet neighborhoods, First Avenue Park — affectionately known by locals as Nose Park — offers a delightful mix of whimsy and serenity. With a view of the Tchefuncte River nearby, it’s a sweet little park perfect for young learners on trikes, seniors on strolls, and geocachers on the hunt!

The playground, track loop, and brand-new bike work station make this park a hidden gem, but today you're here for something even more curious.

Your target? The park’s most prominent feature: the giant nose sculpture. Yep, you read that right — a nose. If you’re sniffing around for the cache, that’s your best clue. When you’re standing at the base of the sculpture, align yourself with its right nostril (a.k.a. naris) and look to the right, around eye level. You're close now — very warm, in fact.

This container is unconventional in form, camouflaged to fit in, and should be an easy grab once you spot it. Just be discreet: the neighborhood is peaceful and the nearby porch sitters may be watching your every move. Give a friendly wave!

Please rehide as found, and don't forget to sign the log. Swap some small swag if you'd like — and most of all, enjoy this charming, quirky park!

Note: This hide was conceived by Reid V., a pack 160 Cub Scout from the Wolf Den. Reid personally loaded the cache with crawly tradeable and named it Spiked Cat.  Cacherintherye77 added their signature Raven figurine; so some fun swag awaits the FTF!
