Yes, although I have left the area, I will still host this perennial favorite event. We are on to our 22nd year of this fun end-of-summer picnic. Many have made this their first event and have returned year after year. If you are a newbie to the game or have never been to an event, then make this your first. We are friendly! The Event will run from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. It will be held rain or shine, and there are shelters. There is a play area for little ones with plenty of room to run around.
As in the past, I will have a grill there if you want something to cook on, but I do plan on bringing some Lewiston Lobsters, aka Red Hotdogs, and all the fixings. You are welcome to bring a side dish, dessert, or beverage to share if you want. Let's have a great turnout and meet as many new people as we can, as well as our regulars who make it to all the events. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Bring along a newbie to show them what we are all about. There are lots of caches in the Bangor area to make a fun and full day of caching. Hope to have a few door prizes to give out as well as the expected refrigerator magnets.
