PARCO DELL'ACQUA DI ARCORE
IT: Oggi, come mai prima, l'acqua torna elemento centrale nella nostra vita quotidiana. Da semplice pioggia da smaltire, diventa risorsa da valorizzare, rendere visibile e funzionale alla valorizzazione del nostro territorio.
Il Parco dell'Acqua costituisce primo esempio di una nuova strategia di progettazione adattiva alle sfide emergenti del climate change, capace di mettere a sistema gli elementi del suolo, dell'acqua e del verde a favore di una natura rigenerativa e resiliente per la comunità locale e di prossimità. In linea con gli obiettivi dell'Agenda 2030 dell'ONU e delle Green Infrastructure dell'UE, il Parco presenta un sistema di soluzioni integrate, in cui le opere di difesa idraulica e idrogeologica vengono trasformate in strumenti per la valorizzazione del territorio a beneficio della collettività; la rigenerazione degli spazi coniuga la mitigazione degli effetti dei cambiamenti climatici con la promozione della biodiversità e della fruibilità sociale. Nel Parco l'acqua verrà incanalata verso un bacino di infiltrazione, piantúmato con specie di vegetazione igrofila in grado di accogliere, di accumulare, di disperdere l'acqua e di permetterne il riuso per scopi irrigui o ricreativi. In assenza di pioggia, il Parco potrà accogliere i visitatori anche all'interno del bacino, che si trasforma in un grande prato verde su cui si può camminare, simbolo e landmark del parco stesso.
ARCORE WATER PARK
ENG: Today, like never before, water returns to be a central element in our daily lives. From simple rain to be disposed of, it becomes a resource to be valorised, made visible and functional for the valorisation of our territory.
The Water Park is the first example of a new design strategy adaptive to the emerging challenges of climate change, capable of systematizing the elements of soil, water and greenery in favor of a regenerative and resilient nature for the local and neighborhood community. In line with the objectives of the UN Agenda 2030 and the EU Green Infrastructure, the Park presents a system of integrated solutions, in which hydraulic and hydrogeological defense works are transformed into tools for the valorisation of the territory for the benefit of the community; the regeneration of spaces combines the mitigation of the effects of climate change with the promotion of biodiversity and social usability. In the Park the water will be channeled towards an infiltration basin, planted with species of hygrophilous vegetation capable of receiving, accumulating, dispersing the water and allowing its reuse for irrigation or recreational purposes. In the absence of rain, the Park will also be able to welcome visitors inside the basin, which is transformed into a large green lawn on which you can walk, a symbol and landmark of the park itself.
