Where? Gembrook Park
What? We will be assisting Friends of Gembrook park with some weed control,
When? Saturday 2nd August 2025 10.00 - 12.00
Why? To remove weeds from the area and get that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you have achieved something to help others!
In 2022(and 2023), we helped the Friends of Gembrook Park to rid the area of a massive amount of weeds. The friends have been in contact to see if we could come back again to help out, so I thought why not? I know some people that would love to help!
Please wear gloves and bring a weeding tool if you have one. There will be a bit of walking involved to reach the working area so please wear sturdy shoes. The posted location is where we will meet our hosts, so please be on time to receive the safety briefing. Our hosts will then escort us to the working area.
