Der Baierweg ist ein alter Handelsweg, der von der Donau über den Gebirgskamm des Bayerischen Waldes und des Böhmerwaldes bis Domažlice in Tschechien und wieder zurück nach Furth im Wald führt. Für den Powertrail wurde die Strecke in Abschnitte A - O gegliedert. Unter der #01 des jeweiligen Abschnitts findet ihr alle relevanten Informationen.
Abschnitt F startet in Viechtach und führt vorbei am Höllensteinsee nach Bad Kötzting. An allen drei Stellen sind größere Parkplätze vorhanden. Die Buslinie 680 und der Rufbus 919 verbinden Anfangs-, Zwischen- und Endpunkt, diese verkehren aber eher selten.
Die Teilstrecke wechselt zwischen gemütlichen Passagen, Anstiegen und Abstiegen. Ein Großteil ist fahrradtauglich, es gibt aber auch schmale, verwurzelte Pfade und Treppen. Der höchste Punkt befindet sich zwischen Buchberg bei Wettzell und Sackenried (601 m), der niedrigste am Regen in Bad Kötzting (396 m).

The Baierweg is an old trade route that leads from the Danube over the ridge of the Bavarian Forest and the Bohemian Forest to Domažlice in the Czech Republic and back to Furth im Wald. For the Powertrail, the route was divided into sections A - O. You can find all relevant information under #01 of the respective section.
Section F starts in Viechtach and leads past the lake Höllensteinsee to Bad Kötzting. Large parking lots are available at all three locations. The 680 bus route and the 919 on-call bus connect the start, intermediate and end point, but these run rather infrequently.
The section alternates between leisurely passages, ascents and descents. Most of it is suitable for bicycles, but there are also narrow, rooted paths and steps. The highest point is between Buchberg bei Wettzell and Sackenried (601 m), the lowest at the river Regen in Bad Kötzting (396 m).

Baierweg je stará obchodní stezka, která vede od Dunaje přes hřeben Bavorského lesa a Šumavy do Domažlic v České republice a zpět do Furth im Wald. Pro Powertrail byla trasa rozdělena na úseky A - O. Všechny důležité informace najdete pod číslem 01 příslušného úseku.
Úsek F začíná ve Viechtachu a vede kolem jezera Höllensteinsee do Bad Kötztingu. Na všech třech místech jsou velká parkoviště. Autobusová linka 680 a autobus na zavolání 919 spojují výchozí, mezilehlá a cílová místa, ale jedná se o málo časté spoje.
Na úseku se střídají pohodové pasáže, stoupání a klesání. Většina z něj je vhodná pro jízdu na kole, ale najdou se zde i úzké, kořeny porostlé stezky a schody. Nejvyšší bod se nachází mezi Buchberg bei Wettzell a Sackenried (601 m), nejnižší u Řezné v Bad Kötzting (396 m).
