We found this beautiful park, CiCo Park, while looking for a place to hide this cache. It consists of the Pottorf Hall meeting facility, fairgrounds, rodeo arena, trails, playgrounds, a baseball complex, tennis courts, a swimming pool, a lot of open spaces and large parking lots.
This cache is placed in honor of our Granddaughter, Sophie, entering Kansas State University in 2023 with a goal of becoming part of the public health community!! She also won a place on the Classy Cats Dance Team, a part of The Pride of Wildcat Land Marching Band!!
Like us, she and her whole family are geocachers, so what better way to celebrate this milestone, then to place a cache in her honor!!
We're so proud of her and can't wait to see her progress to her goal, and we'll update this description each year with highlights of her efforts!!
