I like the new West Loch Bike path section from Waipahu Depot Street to the Kapapapuhi Point park bike Path and onward to Fort Weaver Road. The West Loch Bike path like the Pearl Harbor bike path is also used by the military to run their fuel lines from the Pearl Habor area towards Ewa. The sugarcane train ( OR & L ) (Oahu Rail and Land co. also used the train tracks that were here many years ago..There are 3 info boards along this section of the bike path notating some of its history. Be sure to check them out. I will add waypoints for them when you get close to them.
The new section of the West Loch Bike path is just over a mile long. Ride a bike or Ebike with some friends.
If you can find parking near this one it could be a short walk.
Also along the bike path is the 70 acre Pouhala Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary.
You can start at either end but the Waipahu Depot street has limited parking areas.
