Another addition to the Church Micro series which was started by Sadexploration. You are looking for a small magnetic Nano. This Cache has been placed with permission form the Stewards and Ministers at the church.
Imagine Bushey in 1944. A fledgling community in Carpenders Park, with no church, no school, and little to call their own. But a spark was ignited when a determined group of Methodists began holding services in an unlikely venue: "The Barn," a drafty, old cow shed. Their inaugural service was nothing short of epic – picture it: howling winds, torrential rain, and then, total darkness as the electricity failed just before the 3 PM start! Yet, by candlelight and sheer will, they began.
This isn't just a story of services, but of true grit. From a tiny Sunday School born with just £3 capital, to enduring a barn so cold they held services in 35-40°F, their spirit was indomitable. Even when "The Barn" was condemned and then tragically burned down in a spectacular blaze, they adapted, moving to an open field (briefly, due to thunderstorms!), and then a new infant school, battling freezing temperatures there too. Their journey, marked by perseverance and an unwavering belief, eventually led to the building of their own church.
