If the container is not in its correct spot, it can be washed out of easy reach in heavy rain so:
no matter where you find it, please refer to the hiding guide inside the container lid. The cache is a 400 ml Sistema clip-top box containing a yellow Rite-in-the-Rain logbook and that hiding guide in the lid. Anything else is a decoy / throwdown and not the real cache.
