The cache, the first on the the Confederation Trail, is located near the village of Cardigan in eastern Prince Edward Island.
The Confederation Trail used to be a railway right of way and the cache itself is located near what was the foundation of a water tower used to service steam locomotives. The name Straghbohgie has it’s origin in Gaelic and probably means Little River.
The trail segment can be accessed by the Collins Road which intersects Route 3 at N46 12.667 / W062 40.434.
