Calverts Beach, also known as Goat Beach, is a 2.3 km stretch of beach located on the South Arm Peninsula in Tasmania, Australia. It's known for its natural beauty, seclusion, and moderate to occasionally high waves, making it a popular spot for surfing. The beach is part of the South Arm State Recreation Area and is backed by vegetated dunes and Calverts Lagoon, a landlocked dry lake.
From the listed parking coordinates it's a little under 1km to GZ. The walk is along the beach with a small steep scramble at the end up to the cache. In wet weather this could be quite slippery, and be careful of cliffs and loose rocks nearby. Dogs are permitted on this section of the beach; however, they are to be on a leash at all times.
