This cache is located within the William Penn Park, nearby to the William Penn Park Pickleball court. Many may recognize the face of Penn from the famous Quaker Oats, but may not have known that the man LOVED pickles*. So much so that he invented the sport of pickleball to honor pickles in all of their brine-y glory**. When Penn founded the city of Pennsylvania***, he promptly assigned pickle ball as the city's official sport****.
