Geocache Description:

Lupin has hidden his treasure in the woods to your east. But first, you must discover the plaques honoring the landowner and his wife who so graciously planted the forest we now enjoy 65 years later. Their birth and death years will lead you to the cache. (Easy walking on newly acquired state land.)

Welcome to Burger Park, named for Mr Ed M Burger and his wife Jean - two of the nicest people I have ever met.
Note: All the coordinates are in the form of ddd mm.mmm .

You can park your car at 43N 18.560' 77W 43.980'. The road in has been paved so you can drive, ride a bicycle or walk in with no trouble.

First, find the plaque on the ground two feet south of the small tree located near the posted coordinate.
(Updated August 25, 2014): Look for the smaller of the two trees - It is a Red Maple.
Divide Mrs Jean Burger's birth year by 100 and SUBTRACT it from the minutes portion of 43N 37.953'.
Divide Mrs Jean Burger's death year by 100 and ADD it to the minutes portion of 77W 23.833'.
These two numbers will lead you to the cache. It is a standard ammo box under a pile of branches among the pine trees.
I moved the cache to a more secure location to deter muggles.
Walk around the woods rather than bushwhack through them and approach the cache from the North.

History- My family had the golden opportunity of living in Japan for 9 years. We came from this area, saw the big city, and returned here bringing a little Japanese culture with us.
Lupin III is a famous Japanese cartoon character that shows up in movies, magazines, TV shows, coffee mugs, etc. He is supposedly a master thief, but is actually a good guy, like Robin Hood, and usually ends up giving the "family jewels" away rather than keeping them for himself.
Inside the box are: Key chains from around Japan, New Year charm, comb, Japanese coins, note cards, Japanese hand warmers, maps of Tokyo and Yokohama, and other items for all ages. Enjoy.

(If you get confused, or if the snow is too deep to find the plaque, check the spoiler hint - It has the exact cache coordinates in decimal.)
The cache is a 0.25 mile walk from the parking lot.
