Dit gebouw uit 1920 is het oudste stroomhuisje van Weert.
Het huisje werd gebouwd door de Provinciale Limburgse Elektriciteits-Maatschappij (PLEM). De bijzondere vorm en bouwstijl maken het stroomhuisje uniek.
Vanwege woningbouw dreigt het gesloopt te worden, maar het kan ook ingepast  (en herbestemd) worden in de nieuwbouw.
