Canada Day is one of those rare occasions when Canadians are unapologetically patriotic. This July 1st, let's not just sing our national anthem, let's pay attention to its lyrics. Think about "true patriot love in all of us command", " God keep our land, glorious and free", and, of course, "we stand on guard for thee", which is so important we sing it twice.
We are so fortunate to be Canadians. We are so proud to be Canadians. Happy 158th birthday to our wonderful country, "the true north, strong and free"!
One caution, especially for parents to note, at the top of this fence and behind this fence by an inch or two, there is an electrical wire, to keep the horses from nibbling the fence posts. The fence itself is safe to touch. That wire though, if touched when electrified, will give a mild shock.
Please remember to bring a pen to sign the log. Happy Canada Day!
