Located at Keg Creek Rest Area. Park at N43 20.756 W78 39.203.
This cache has a new travel bug in it. The cache has many goodies and should be fun to find. Some bushwacking is required. Go down the stairs from the parking area to start your hunt. Cache is in a large blue water jug, well hidden but you should be able to find in winter
You don’t need a boat to catch fish in Niagara! If you’re looking for rugged, try hiking into the gorge at the Whirlpool or Devil’s Hole. Spring and Fall are best. The New York Power Authority Fishing Platform is a state-of-the-art facility designed to accommodate the physically challenged. Another underutilized shorefishing hotspot has been the improved access south from Artpark in Lewiston. For nearly a mile, lower Niagara River access is available by simply taking a short hike. The Sanddocks in Lewiston and fishing piers at Joe Davis and Wilson-Tuscarora State Parks are also worth a try. The piers at Wilson and Olcott are hot locations in the spring and fall, and that same time frame can lead to some fantastic stream fishing for both salmon and trout. Here are some of the best locations around the county for land bound anglers:
