Join us for a Christmas in July at the Albright's Woods Park in Orwisburg, PA!
The park is located at 300 Grove St., Orwigsburg PA, 17961.
The event will go from 3:30-6pm. I have a pavillion reserved with bathrooms nearby. There will be 12 new cches (the 12 caches of Christmas to be published around 2p.m. They will all be in the surrounding area. I am planning some games for the event such as:
1. Bring an ugly sweater (I think it will be too hot to wear them): We can lay them on a table and everyone attending will receive one ticket to vote for the sweater they feel is the ugliest.
2. Geocaching Bingo: get to know other geocachers attending
3. Lucky Seat: there will be a couple special seats marked whoever sits in them will win a prize,
4. White Elephant game (optional): bring a wrapped gift of no more than a $15 value and we can play to see who wins what gift.
I willl be making pulled pork. Bring your drinks of choice (no alcoholic drinks allowed), If you want to bring something along please put next to your will attend what you want to bring. There is, also, a charcoal grill to make some hotdogs.
Plus I will have door prizes for everyone .
Bring any puzzles that have you stumped. We can work on them as a group, and your favorite geocaching stories to share, there is a playground on site for young cachers, also.
