This series is to highlight some of the beautiful country towns that exist off Burley Griffin Way in the south-mid area of NSW. The GZ locations are all in treed areas, where the variety and beauty of the land out this way is truly evident.
The series will be a mix of types, D/Ts all tree-related. Some will be at the base of a tree, others will be a free climb or a ladder or fishing pole.
It is not enough to see the cache, your name must be in the log book. Check the attributes so you will have an idea of what you are in for with each hide.
For this multi, you will need equipment.
At the starting coordinates you will need a good length pole to retrieve the coordinates which are 10m up a tree.
The coordinates are engraved on a metal dog-tag, and once you have found the coordinates you will need to return them to their correct location again, ready for the next searchers and then make you way to GZ with the new coordinates.
GZ is also 10 m up a tree. The final was placed with technical tree-climbing equipment, and unless you have a very tall ladder, you will need to use your equipment.
Take heed of the attributes and remember that no cache is worth any safety risk. Cache within your safe limits.
(With thanks to JohnoMawbs, Swimmagurl and Temogeodad who helped with the placement and will log after the FTF has gone).
