The Light at the End of the Tun...er...Road. Traditional Cache
-allenite-: As there's been no response from the cache owner to my previous note, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
Please note that geocaches archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance are not eligible for unarchival.

The last mile and a half of the road is not plowed in the winter, but can still be navigated by snowmobile. Park at the end of the road. Cache is a medium sized Rubbermaid container with a white screw on lid.
BE AWARE: This place is loaded with poison ivy in the summer time. We placed this cache during the winter and will check on it to make sure it is not in a spot over run by poison ivy in the spring.
The original contents of this cache are: an orange golf ball, a golf tee, a Jeff Gordon sticker, a Dragon Furby (that we found at the "Piers Gorge" cache), a small race car, a snowman, cellular one sewing kit, bouncy ball, 2 Swallow Inn drink chips (located downtown Rapid River), a "Where's George" bill from "Letterman Tripped", and a christmas tree cookie cutter.
WHILE YOU'RE THERE:
Be sure to check out the lighthouse. While you are looking for this cache be sure to look for fosils. Also walk as far south as you can, find out where Zebra Muscles go to die. Just think that where you will be standing was under about 3 feet of water 10 years ago. It kind of gives you a new perspective.
All the damage you will see on the way in was from a bad wind storm that occured a few years ago.
