🗼 Sky Park – Premena mesta (SK)
Sky Park je moderná mestská štvrť, ktorá vyrástla na mieste bývalého priemyselného areálu. Ešte pred pár desaťročiami tu stála Jurkovičova tepláreň a množstvo industriálnych budov, ktoré dnes pripomínajú len niektoré zachované prvky.
Dominantou územia sa stali výškové budovy, ktoré dnes patria medzi najvyššie obytné stavby v Bratislave. Architektúra Sky Parku spája moderný štýl s dôrazom na verejný priestor – nájdeš tu zeleň, chodníky, oddychové zóny aj umelecké prvky.
Zvláštnosťou je spojenie minulosti s prítomnosťou: zrekonštruovaná Jurkovičova tepláreň bola pôvodne technickou stavbou z roku 1941, no dnes slúži ako kultúrno-spoločenský priestor. Je jednou z mála zachovaných industriálnych pamiatok v Bratislave a bola citlivo zapracovaná do nového urbanistického celku.
Miesto, kde sa dnes nachádzaš, symbolizuje premenu Bratislavy – z priemyselného mesta na moderné európske centrum so zameraním na architektúru, kultúru a komunitný život.

🗼 Sky Park – City Transformed
Sky Park is a modern urban district built on the site of a former industrial zone. Just a few decades ago, this area was home to Jurkovič Heating Plant and several factory buildings that served the city's energy and industrial needs. Today, only a few preserved elements remind us of that past.
The district is now dominated by high-rise residential towers—among the tallest in Bratislava. The architecture blends contemporary design with an emphasis on public space: greenery, walking paths, resting areas, and artistic installations are all part of the landscape.
One of the highlights of the area is the sensitively restored Jurkovič Heating Plant, originally built in 1941. Designed by Dušan Jurkovič, one of Slovakia’s most important architects, the building is a rare example of preserved industrial heritage in Bratislava. It now serves a new purpose as a cultural and social space, seamlessly integrated into the modern surroundings.
The location where you’re standing reflects the transformation of Bratislava—from an industrial city into a contemporary European capital focused on design, community, and livability.
