Interstate 70 is a major east-west Interstate that goes from near Cove Fort, Utah to Woodlawn, Maryland. The interstate travers 2,171.71 miles as it goes through Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Some interesting facts around Interstate 70 before we get into the requirements for this challenge:
- The highways traces the path of US Route 40 (The National Road) east of the Rocky Mountains
- The sections of the Interstate that go through Missouri and Illinois lay claims to being the first Interstate in the US
- The Eisenhower Tunnel in Colorado is the highest point along the Interstate Highway System, with an elevation of 11,158 feet
So, now you want to know what this challenge entails to see if you qualify for it. To qualify for this challenge, you will need to have found 70 or more caches in 4 of the states that Interstate 70 goes through. You could have 81 caches in Utah, 200 caches in Kansas, 71 caches in Indiana, and 2000 caches in Pennsylvania. These 70 caches DO NOT have to be in the counties that the Interstate travels through, they just need to be in the state. To show that I qualify for this challenge cache, here are my qualifications:

The cache that you seeking is located along the Panhandle Trail in Washington County. The Panhandle Trail is open from sunrise to sunset, so this means ABSOLUTELY no night caching for this challenge. The trail runs from Colliers, West Virginia to Colliers Township in Allegheny County. The container is a preform container with a small full size geocaching.com label on it. You will need to bring your own pen. The log sheet is write in rain paper. Please rehide the container as you have found it.
