Easy cache located in Memorial Park.
This cache is located in a very interesting and historic town on Virginia's Eastern Shore. Chincoteague Island, Virginia's only resort island, is one of the many beautiful islands that dots Virginia's Eastern Shore. World famous for its oyster beds and clam shoals, this picturesque island is the gateway to Assateague Island National Seashore. Chincoteague Island is the home of many outstanding craftsmen and artists who produce some of the world's finest hand carved duck decoys and reproductions of natures soaring wildfowl and Chincoteague Ponies.
