Num recanto selvagem do Porto Santo, entre o pulsar constante das marés e os segredos submersos da costa, ergue-se uma formação rochosa tão singular, quanto misteriosa. De maré cheia, é um verdadeiro ilhéu, isolado, desafiador, vigiando a linha costeira com imponência. De maré baixa, revela-se uma passagem disfarçada, onde a terra se estende com timidez até tocar o rochedo. Este não é um simples pedaço de rocha. É um guardião milenar, moldado pelo tempo, pela erosão e pelas forças do mar. Para alcançá-lo, é necessário mais do que vontade 🧗♂️
Se a maré estiver cheia, prepare-se para nadar. As águas aqui são traiçoeiras, com correntes cruzadas e alguma agitação. Se a maré estiver baixa, encontrarás poças de maré a revelar um mundo fascinante: polvos esquivos, ouriços, caranguejos aventureiros, estrelas-do-mar e até moreias escondidas. Um verdadeiro aquário natural que acompanhar-te-á até ao pé do rochedo. As rochas são cortantes e escorregadias, cobertas de lodo e pequenos recifes. Só com calçado adequado deverás tentar a subida.
🪨 A cache está escondida no topo da formação rochosa, com vista privilegiada sobre o azul infinito. Com dezenas de fendas, buracos e esconderijos possíveis, vais precisar de paciência, intuição e um olhar atento. O desafio está à altura do cenário.
In a wild corner of Porto Santo, between the constant pulse of the tides and the submerged secrets of the coast, stands a rock formation that is as unique as it is mysterious. At high tide, it is a true islet, isolated, challenging, watching over the coastline with grandeur. At low tide, it reveals a disguised passage, where the land timidly extends until it touches the rock. This is not a simple piece of rock. It is an ancient guardian, shaped by time, erosion and the forces of the sea. To reach it, you need more than just willpower 🧗♂️
If the tide is high, get ready to swim. The waters here are treacherous, with cross currents and some agitation. If the tide is low, you will find tide pools revealing a fascinating world: elusive octopuses, sea urchins, adventurous crabs, starfish and even hidden moray eels. A true natural aquarium that will accompany you all the way to the foot of the rock. The rocks are sharp and slippery, covered in mud and small reefs. You should only attempt the climb with suitable footwear.
🪨 The cache is hidden at the top of the rock formation, with a privileged view over the infinite blue. With dozens of cracks, holes and possible hiding places, you will need patience, intuition and a keen eye. The challenge is up to the challenge.
