I found space for one more cache in Headwaters Park. This cache is a container that my work-friend, Ryan, painted for me, in honor of a sports team that we both follow, but don't talk much about anymore due to 'poor performance'. 😆 It's been sitting by my desk for probably 5 or 6 years, so i decided to get it out of the office and make it into a cache! The hide is in the park and the intention is to take the trails. You can take a trail right to the hide if you head east from the parking area. When you come to a split in the trail, you can go either way as it's a loop. When you see what's in the photo, you're almost there. You can form your name if the sticks are still on the table. ("Harry" was the last name.)
You might be tempted to take a shortcut to the hide from a different direction. I haven't tried that and good luck if you do, but DO NOT attempt this from the highway!!
The ratings are based on finding it in the summer. The trail often is muddy and is a little overgrown at the end right now. Make sure the cache is hidden from view when you leave!
There is a FTF prize with the logbook! Please take it if you want it and get there 1st!
