Staw Browarny w Olsztynie to malowniczy zbiornik wodny położony w Parku Jakubowo, na obrzeżach dzielnicy Zatorze. Jego historia sięga XIX wieku, kiedy zasilał pobliski browar. W okresie międzywojennym teren wokół stawu został uporządkowany i przekształcony w miejsce rekreacyjne – z promenadą, estradą taneczną i ogrodem kwiatowym. W ostatnich latach przeprowadzono prace modernizacyjne i oczyszczające, które miały na celu poprawę estetyki i funkcji przyrodniczych stawu. Okolica przyciąga spacerowiczów i miłośników natury – staw zamieszkują m.in. łabędzie i kaczki. Park Jakubowo, w którym się znajduje, oferuje też liczne atrakcje: alejki, fontanny, plac zabaw i przestrzenie do aktywności kulturalnej. Dziś staw Browarny stanowi jedno z ulubionych miejsc wypoczynku mieszkańców Olsztyna.

Der Browarny-Teich in Olsztyn ist ein malerischer Stausee im Jakubowo-Park am Rande des Stadtteils Zatorze. Seine Geschichte reicht bis ins 19. Jahrhundert zurück, als er eine nahegelegene Brauerei mit Strom versorgte. In der Zwischenkriegszeit wurde das Gebiet rund um den Teich aufgeräumt und in ein Erholungsgebiet mit Promenade, Tanzfläche und Blumengarten umgewandelt. In den letzten Jahren wurden Modernisierungs- und Reinigungsarbeiten durchgeführt, um die Ästhetik und die natürlichen Funktionen des Teichs zu verbessern. Das Gebiet zieht Wanderer und Naturliebhaber an – der Teich wird unter anderem von Schwänen und Enten bewohnt. Der Jakubowo-Park, in dem er liegt, bietet außerdem zahlreiche Attraktionen: Alleen, Brunnen, einen Spielplatz und Räume für kulturelle Aktivitäten. Heute ist der Browarny-Teich einer der beliebtesten Erholungsorte der Einwohner von Olsztyn.

The Pond Browarny in Olsztyn is a picturesque reservoir located in Jakubowo Park, on the outskirts of the Zatorze district. Its history dates back to the 19th century, when it supplied power to a nearby brewery. In the interwar period, the area around the pond was tidied up and transformed into a recreational area – with a promenade, dance floor and flower garden. In recent years, modernisation and cleaning works have been carried out, which aimed to improve the aesthetics and natural functions of the pond. The area attracts walkers and nature lovers – the pond is inhabited by swans and ducks, among others. Jakubowo Park, where it is located, also offers numerous attractions: alleys, fountains, a playground and spaces for cultural activities. Today, the Pond Browarny is one of the favourite places for recreation for the residents of Olsztyn.
