Welcome to Embrace Your Geekness Day, a special time for everyone who gets excited about things others might find quirky or nerdy. Held on July 13th each year, it shines a bright spotlight on all forms of geekiness, from comic books to coding and everything in between, like Geocaching.
Thomas Roy created these holidays as a radio host in order to encourage people to celebrate. Embrace Your Geekness Day is all about celebrating something you enjoy that is labelled as geeky or nerdy. It is observed and celebrated in different ways by each person.
Come join us at a local coffee shop in Folsom at 9:00 AM for an opportunity to celebrate your geekiness, which will be awarded with a FTF for all those who attend and sign the event log sheet. Costumes welcome, but not required.
