Cape Palliser (Wairarapa) Traditional Cache

Cape Palliser Lighthouse

Located at the most southern point of land on the North Island New Zealand.
A interesting drive from Martinborough. Plenty of seals. Great scenery.
Do not attempt in gale force southerlies or heavy rain..
Cache not accessible by climbing steps to light house.
Cache in plastic container contains Log Book and pen Pencil sharpener        
For best access park about 75mts before the car park were there is no fence. Go through the rocks at the base of the light house hill.
Warning : Since you have to step through some low prickly ground cover the last 10 mts the wearing of shoes or boots is essential. Step carefully as the ground is uneven.
