As you're traveling on Gros Ventre Road, you'll reach a point where you leave Grand Teton National Park and enter Bridger Teton National Forest. Or is it leaving Bridger Teton National Forest and entering Grand Teton National Park? All depends on your perspective, I suppose.
Parking is available nearby and should be a pretty quick find. Winter availability will depend on road conditions, plowing and willingness to walk in snow.
