Shadows of Time

Long before the invention of cell phones, wristwatches, or digital clocks, people relied on the sun and the shadows it cast to keep track of time. Believe it or not, some of those old-school timekeepers still exist today! Right here on the campus of Southern Adventist University, you’ll find two such examples of how folks used shadows to track the hours. These days, it's extremely rare to see a college student stopping by to make sure they aren't late for their next class.
