You may sign the log at anytime and write a note, however, to log your "found it smile" You simply need to follow the rules;
The Rules
In order to log this cache as a find, you must have found at least 25 or more caches in any 7 of the 9 cache types listed. You must meet the 25 x 7 rules. Of course any of the finds from the past will qualify. Please copy your qualifications from Project GC into your log.
