This cache is located on the grounds of our local community theater. In December of 2021, this location, as well as several surrounding blocks were in the path of an EF 4 tornado. By some twist of fate, this was one of the few structures in the entire downtown area that was not completely destroyed. There was a production the evening the tornado struck, but luckily, the show was over and everyone evacuated in enough time before tragedy struck. After about six months of repairs, the theater reopened. The theater is ran entirely by volunteers, like myself. The post office has reopened within the last year, and several other buildings and numerous homes have been rebuilt, but there are still many empty lots within viewing distance of the theater. The cache is a water bottle sized container, with a few trade items included, approved to be placed by the board of directors.
