Come join us for our August meeting at Amicalola Falls for the Dog Days of Summer!!!
This event is organized by Maddog1973 with help from the Committee.
The event will be held at Pavilion #5 and there is parking close by but limited, other wise park at alternate location or by the visitors center.
Since it is the Dog Days of Summer... there will be games and prizes associated with this theme as well as some dogs on the grill. If all goes planned the Naturalist will be giving a talk about the park and the flora and fauna of the area. There may be a new cache or two added to the ones you can already get here which is the State Park cache and an Earthcache as well, if you want to climb all the stairs... just remember you will need to climb back down too. The creek is next to pavilion so if you get too hot you can stick your feet in to get cooled off.
Water, hotdogs, and other snacks will be provided.
There is camping available if you wanted to spend the weekend.

There is a $5.00 parking fee to come into the park unless you already have the state park pass.
