Ingredients:
4 cups heavy cream
1 1⁄3 cups sugar
2 cups milk
4 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups extra strong brewed coffee, chilled
Directions:
In a medium bowl, whisk the cream and sugar until the sugar has dissolved completely and the mixture is frothy.
Add the milk, vanilla and coffee.
Whisk until blended.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Recipe makes half a gallon of ice cream.
Prepare the ice cream in an ice-cream maker according to manufacturer's directions. Any ice cream maker will work, electric, hand cranked, shaken, or rolled, it's up to you.
