Geocache Description:

Friday, July 25, 2025 9am-10:30am

Come spend your Friday Morning at Vista Park here in Aliso VIejo with DIK22DAK and Caching Friends. This event was hosted to congratulate DIK22DAK on his 1000th find milestone, in just under a year of caching. Here is what you should expect at this event. There are many caches nearby, which a few are walking distance, one is even 100 feet from the event's coordinates. I plan on publishing 3-5 new caches in a close proximity of the event, with a wide vareity of icons as well. So there will be FTF Opportunities. There will be a sign in sheet by me at the grounds of the event. The event is at Vista Park, as mentioned earlier. There are structures with tables and benches. Depending on the "will attend" logs, I may move the event, if the expected attendence is a bigger number. If you do plan on attending please log your will attend, so I can prepare accordingly. At the park there are no restrooms, but there will be some refreshments provided by me. Of course I have to keep Geocachers busy so here are some activities being offered at this event:

  • Cornhole
  • 25 Years of Geocaching Bingo for prizes
  • A raffle for Geocaching related Prizes (everyone wins)
  • Showcase of creative containers
  • Trackable discovery & Table
  • More to come as well!

When attending the event there are a few things to put into consideration. In the list below I have a list of important things that should be noted once you log your "will attend." Also Please reguard the stored waypoints on this cache listing. As always, please message me via the Geocaching Message Center if you have any questions reguarding the event.

  • Parking: There is a big, public lot nearby the park for the park, and aquatic center. No need to worry. There are also EV chargers nearby if you own an EV.
  • Weather: On the day of the event, there is a high of 83° Farenheit, so maybe bring some sunscreen. The shelters above the tables do provide ample shade. I don't expect it to be too hot at 9 in the morning.
  • Seating: At some events the seating situation can be somewhat difficult. There are about a total of 4 tables at the park. If you would like, please bring a lawn chair for a more comfortable seating choice. I may bring an extra table along with me.
  • Refreshments: At my CITO event in April, my cookies were a hit. I plan on bringing some along with me to this one aswell! I also plan on bringing some soda aswell. When you log your will attend, please write your favorite type of soda, so I can bring things that will not go to waste.

So, how about spend the morning on a fine Friday, summer day with some Geocaching Friends at Vista park, to celebrate a Milestone of DIK22DAK? If so, log your will attend as mentioned earlier. Thanks!

As of 7/1/25 DIK22DAK has not gotten 1,000 finds. I plan on having the Project APE Cache (Mission 9: Tunnel of Light) be my 1,000 milestone, when I am up in Washington for an Alaskian Cruise next week.
