I like meaningful geocaching meetings. That's why I don't do many, but the ones I did were worth it. Since we're going to South Africa with a group, I'd like to meet some local people and exchange some information about caching and maybe some interesting caches that would show us places that we wouldn't just drive by or go to.
I contacted Geocachers of SA and asked them if it would be interesting and appropriate to hold an event here and I got an enthusiastic message from reviewer Pte Curb that we should go for it. Graskop is said to be a renowned tourist destination.
We will be staying in the hotel next door. We are two cachers out of a group of 8 people from Czech Republic. I will be very happy if someone joins us at the event. We are looking forward to it.
For the 25th anniversary of geocaching, I had my personal trackable geocoin made with my nickname and logo. If anyone wants to bring it, please contact me via my profile by July 17th.
