Neil spent half his life living on Lac St. Brutus in Quebec, calling it "his favorite place on earth" and his "soulscape". Along with lake living, came hiking, climbing, boating, and paddling. One single island, in view of his home, was given many nicknames across the years - but Neil and his friends settled on "Science Island" in 2014. A small little island with a few trees (pictured below) where he went to imagine, dream, and write. A spitting image of the island you are visiting right now.
