Geocache Description:

Welcome to "JJ" the Jaguar Giant! "JJ" was constructed by Matt Thornhill (principal at Natcher Elementary) with his dad and in partnership with his students, parents and community members. Mr. Thornhill is also the owner of this geocache. "JJ" is modeled after the Troll Giants created by Thomas Dambo. "JJ" is now nestled in the woods behind Natcher Elemenatry in the community greenway space to watch over those that pass by as they enjoy the trail and this beautiful space.

Natcher Elementary's mascot is a Jaguar. So, "JJ" felt right at home here in the greenways next to the school. To learn more about "JJ" the Jaguar Giant, click on the following link: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/19E_fcvP7w4AaNjSV0ahTpmXO1RqRyJI2xyDALLtiBh4/edit?usp=drive_link

Natcher moved from Jones Jaggers on WKU's campus to 1434 Cave Mill road and was established in 1990. Dr. Connie Allen was the first principal of Natcher Elementary and served from 1990 to 2005. The second principal of Natcher Elementary was Mrs. Stephanie Martin who served from 2005 to 2012. Mr. Matt Thornhill is the 3rd principal at Natcher and has served from 2012 until now.
