About LRT Sri Petaling Line

The Sri Petaling line LRT consists of 29 stations and a trip from Sentul Timur LRT Station to Putra Heights LRT Station takes a total of 74 minutes.

The Ampang and Sri Petaling Lines run on a common route between Sentul Timur Station and Chan Sow Lin Station, serving central Kuala Lumpur and the city centre, effectively making all the stations on this section act as interchanges between both lines. From Chan Sow Lin Station, the Ampang Line travels to its terminus, Ampang Station while the Sri Petaling Line runs to Putra Heights Station, where it meets the Kelana Jaya Line, serving southern Kuala Lumpur and Puchong.

About the Station

Hang Tuah LRT Station, also known as BBCC - Hang Tuah Station due to the new transit hub, is an interchange station in the Pudu district of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, between the Ampang and Sri Petaling Lines (formerly known as STAR) and the KL Monorail.

The platforms of the LRT Station were significantly revamped and remodeled when the station was physically linked to the KL Monorail in 2012. These platforms have also been lengthened to accommodate longer trains. The elevated KL Monorail's station is located northeast to the LRT Station. The concourse of the stations are located at the street level and level 1 respectively.

Seamless physical and fare integration was achieved on 1 March 2012 when the "paid-up" or restricted areas of both the LRT and Monorail Stations, which previously operated as two separate stations, were linked up, allowing passengers to transfer without needing to buy new tickets for the first time since the monorail became operational in 2003.
