Our beautiful carousel has reopened and we are so excited to share this with our caching friends!
The Berkshire Carousel is a functional classic wooden carousel, with hand carved and hand painted wooden horses that were built, carved and painted by hundreds of dedicated volunteers over an 11 year period of time. A typical ride lasts between 2 - 3 1/2 minutes and you can choose to ride one of 32 horses, 1 donkey, a rocking chariot, an ADA Handicap Chariot, and an old fashioned spinning tub. As always, no purchase is necessary to attend the event, but if you'd like to ride the carousel tickets are $2 each.
We will meet at the carousel and enjoy the company of fellow cachers as we watch the smiling faces of the kids of all ages go round and round! It's a simple meet and greet where we can share our caching stories and adventures and enjoy the fun!
