This cache is located on the Boyne Valley Trail, a 1.5 km nature trail on the east side of Treherne between Hwy #2 and the former CPR line. The geocache is located near one of the two 80-foot bridges that cross the Boyne Valley. You will not have to hike the whole path to get the geocache.
The incline may be more than expected, especially if you go off the trail. The trail starts at the trailhead and has a more gentle decline to the cache; however, there is a short area of steeper incline, estimated to be 25°. Terrain is rated as 2 for how the path is regularly groomed to keep it bikable, and because less 1/4th of the path from the parking spot to the cache has an incline.
