Welcome to the fabulous Rockaway Beach, Oregon! (not to be confused with Rockaway, New York!)
We stumbled on this little jewel of a town and adore the small town feel while enjoying miles of gorgeous sandy beaches and miles of hiking trails plus a literal lake (Lake Lytle) in our backyard. The highlight of the year is the 4th of July festival, when the whole town gets decorated and celebrates all day long with a parade downtown, Dachshun races, street markets, and a spectacular fireworks show at night.
Thanks for stopping by this cache. Parking and beach access are right near the cache, but accessing the cache will require navigating over/down/around some large boulders that make up the breakwall.
