The LIONS DEN Letterbox Geocache
THE CACHE IN NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES
FOLLOW THE GUIDE BELOW FOR YOUR SAFARI TO THE CACHE LOCATION
NOTE: The Cache is NOT waterproof. Make sure contents are kept in sealed bags!!
HERE ARE THE STEPS YOU MUCH FOLLOW TO FIND THE LETTERBOX CACHE AND CLAIM A FIND
You are in the LIONS Domain. The posted coordinates lead you to a place to park your car. Look aroound you might see some RVers. ... roaming vehicles who are camped out in the LIONS SAVANNAH. Do not approach them but if they approach you, tell them what you are doing and introduce them to geocaching.
This is a RV Park Sponsored by the Wayne Lions Club. There is no fee for day use but anyone wanting to make a donation can at the check in board. Please be respectful of Campers. The Lions Club has given permission to Post this cache.
BEGIN YOUR SAFARI
1) From your parking spot, find the 12 posted structure nearby and to to the SW Corner Post. The Safari begins here.
2) Go approximately 42 feet in Westerly (280degrees) direction to a square concrete area. This is a safe spot where you will not be attacked by Lions or any other critters except mosquitoes. Get ready for your next direction.
3) Now your adventure gets a little tougher. Go approximately 102 Feet in a WSW (242 degreers) direction to a round concrete area marked WATER. You are getting closer to the cache. LOOK AROUND. The Lion's Domain is surrounded on 3 sides by a Hedged Barrier. Your task is to find a way through that HEDGE to GZ. You will notice a few openings to choose from. HOWEVER, the next step will suggest the best way to go.
4) GO NORTH approximately 128 Feet (2 degrees) to a place where you can get through the hedge. You are really, really close to GZ at this point and a few short steps to the West (270 degrees) will bring you to the LIONS DEN LETTERBOX.
Sign the LOG or use the stamp. Post your Geocaching name with your stamp. Use the stamp and stamp pad in the cache to mark your personal Letterbox Journal. DO NOT REMOVE THE STAMP OR STAMP PAD.
FTF will have the pick of items in the Letterboxt . Feel free to leave TBs or Tradeables.
Contact the CO if there are any issues or the Stamp Pad needs to be replaced.
