The VICTORIAN SENIORS FESTIVAL runs throughout the month of October each year, offering free and low-cost events and activities right across the state for those aged 60 and over.
The aim of the festival is to celebrate positive ageing, provide new learning opportunities and encourage community connection.
Everyone is welcome! Participation from all ages, particularly in intergenerational activities, is encouraged. You do not need to be a senior to participate.

The Pyrenees Shire, in conjunction with the Pyrenees Community House, are excited to include geocaching as a featured activity as part of its festival activities.
The Geocaching Hub will run from 10am to 2pm, where you can drop in at any time and:
- CONNECT with other geocachers
- Learn what "this geocaching thing" is
- CREATE a new hobby
- Get help with how to use the app
- Enter prize draws
- Grab a cuppa and a biccie
- Chat about anything geocaching
- CELEBRATE how geocaching is a great hobby for Seniors (and everyone) to get out and about and explore new places
This Geocaching Event will run from 2pm to 3pm, following on from when the Geocaching Hub closes.
- This will still be a great time for any newcomers to come along and Connect, Create and Celebrate with other geocachers, with the added bonus that an event counts as a geocache!
- Everyone is welcome!
Discover Beaufort via Geocaching - there will be new Geocaches and 20 new Adventure Lab locations released on the day in conjunction with this festival.

- Food: There is a good selection of cafes around town
- Toilets: Public toilets are located in the main street next to the Library / Information Centre, and in Wotherspoon Park behind the IGA Supermarket. The Beeripmo Centre also has toilets available for use by attendees and visitors.
- Transport: V/Line trains stop at Beaufort Station.
