Geocache Description:

This cache is not at the posted coordinates. At the published coordinates, you will find an information board with three notices on. You will need to gather some information off of the board, which will eventually lead you to the cache, which is a small tub in a camoflauged bag.

The new Ashington Train Station, which opened on the 15th December 2024, is the northernmost station on the Northumberland Line also has been designed with future expansion in mind. It features a single platform on the west side of the line, located within an expanded car park that includes Blue Badge and EV charging spaces. The station offers a range of facilities like waiting shelters, CCTV, help points, and lighting, with a 100 meter platform.

You can find the cache at N55 10.ABC W1 34.DEF

If you were going from left to right, let's name the three notices Toby, Billy and Stacey in that order.

A. Toby. What is the second digit in the phone number at the bottom?

B. Billy. What platform is the ticket machine located on?

C. Billy. On the 'paragraph' named 'Fares and service information', what is the fourth digit in the telephone number?

D. Toby. How many words are in the motto at the bottom, and then half that number?

E. Stacey. Underneath the word 'MANORS', what is the second number in the first time the train departs?

F. Stacey. Underneath 'PERIOD OF OPERATION', it runs from the F8th of May to the 13th December 2025

Checksum ~ 23

The final cache can be a short walk away, or you can drive nearby and walk the rest of the way.

The cache contains a log book, a pencil (which are not swops), and a few trinkets, which are. When you find the cache, please make sure you sign the log book with your geocaching username, a clear abbreviation, and optionally the date. You may do this with the pencil provided, or bring your own. Please replace the cache back exactly as you find it.

If you happen to not find the accepted, please make sure you log a DNF, and I will check on it as soon as I can.

Happy caching!
